My current focus of work is folklore in modern society and the intersection of memory and truth.

I paint items or people that invoke an important memory, using watercolour, pencils and ink with intense and metallic highlights to make them stand out against the fog of time. 

I often weave in handwritten poetry - a sort of spell that pulls the reader deeper into the memory so they can judge what is true or not true.

I draw these things to help me decode the past and enable others to experience customs that are at threat from the modern world.
