Writing

My short stories, poetry and novels delve into unusual characters facing strange circumstances. I'm interested in themes of otherness, yearning for belonging and identity. Whether drawn from my personal experiences or my imagination, my work is always based on the real folktales, both old and new, that people have shared with me on my travels through my native West Wales and countries around the world.
